In this election, I will be the champion of economic equality for all Americans. Therefore, I will launch the America@Work (A@W) campaign and brand to focus on the following affordability issues: equal public healthcare access; wealth creation for every citizen; develop the legislation to strengthen US global and economic competitiveness; the advancement of 21st Century technologies and industries; enhanced labor standards; and last: I will enact policies to secure the right to work for every American citizen and resident.
I support government-furnished, early childhood education; reform and federalization of public schools and placement of America’s teachers on the federal General Schedule (GS) for higher and consistent salaries over state wages. Thus, I will also sponsor legislation to have the nation’s K-12 public education programs follow the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) blueprint in which all school-aged children are provided world-class STEM and life skills education that prepares them for post-secondary education and/or career success and to leading in their communities and in our 21st Century global economy.
I will fight for universal healthcare and medical insurance coverage to ensure health equity and reverse the spread of disease in this country. This is absolutely among my best public policy position which is directed at the affordability issue. I have lived a substantial part of my earlier upbringing without the proper access to healthcare and will, as a member of Congress, ensure its total access.
As the principal legislator, I will pick up the torch where other civil rights advocates and leaders left off and pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act (JLVRAA) to restore the Voting Rights Act of 1965 for free and fair elections in the United States.
I will sponsor robust legislation to curve violence and address the epidemics of home invasions, car-jackings, robberies, and mass shootings at schools, churches, and synagogues, and in cities across the nation. However, the voters will know they can trust me to protect them from aggressive policing by law enforcement personnel and I will make sure the police are not immune and their actions above the law.
